53.The description of this Fr. 792 almost parallels our description of the Fr. 791 above. The Track & Price census shows just 16 examples here in all grades, with PMG having graded no Uncirculated examples. In fact, the finest graded to date by PMG was the Tom Flynn collection note, which graded AU 58. The note we offer here is the only other specimen PMG has graded to date that is better than EF 40. The Flynn note realized $4,312.50 in 2008, and a PCGS EF 45 example we sold five years later brought $3,055. In a market which, after fifteen years of third party grading now recognizes the difference between what is really rare and what is simply overhyped, expect this note to equal or exceed...
