Fr. 762 $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Gem Uncirculated
65 EPQ.The Battleship deuce, featuring the battleship New York on the back, is always popular and this example has nothing about it to discourage that enthusiasm. In addition to great paper with original surfaces and margins, the colors retain their original attractive hues. As if that were not enough, this note carries serial number F19A. While not a "top pop" qualifier (six notes in higher grades are recorded in the PMG Population Report at present out of a total population of 52 examples), this note needs no apology. Over a decade ago, this note sold for $4,370 and we expect that price to be exceeded tonight.
