Hessler 463C/Fd 2 Fr. 7 1861 $10 Philadelphia Demand Note Face and Back Proofs.A wonderful pair of notes with the face serving as the Plate Note for Hessler 463C in Gene Hessler's book of U.S. Essay, Proof and Specimen Notes. The face is a well printed example mounted on cardstock and hole punch cancelled graded PCGS Choice New 63PPQ. The back which is also mounted on cardstock has been given the grade of Choice About New 58PPQ by PCGS for a hard line corner fold at upper left. It is identified as Hessler-Fd2.
