Fr. 7 $10 1861 Demand Note PMG Very Fine 25.There are only four dozen known examples of this Ten Dollar Philadelphia Demand Note according to the most recent Track & Price census. This one is well up in the grade census and features terrific color, strong pen signatures, and excellent eye appeal. PMG mentions a restoration, but nothing is readily apparent on this pleasing mid-grade example of a very scarce early Demand Note. Without question one of the most appealing examples we have offered for the issue in this grade. In November of 2020, we sold another PMG Very Fine 25 example in a comment free holder for $13,200.
