Boldly Signed $10 Demand Note - Payable at Philadelphia
Fr. 7 $10 1861 Demand Note PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.A total of 43 survivors are listed in the census with none of the third party graded notes with auction appearances topping the Very Fine grade. This example boasts strong penned signatures, larger than average top and bottom margins, and pleasingly bright printed design details. The small edge splits noted by the grading service are obscured by the PCGS holder. They also note a minor stain on back near the bottom center, which is far from distracting.
