Fr. 61 Hessler UNL $5 1863 Legal Tender Back Proof PCGS Apparent Choice About New 58.This back proof is of the first obligation clause in which it is encircled by hexagon-like shaped scrollwork. Therefore, it is a back proof for Friedberg numbers 61 through 61c and not 63 as is listed on the third party label. Nevertheless, Hessler does not list a back proof for this design. This example was printed on card stock. The apparent grade is for mounting damage on the back. This is a small area along the bottom edge.
