Rare Fr. 6 With No Survivors Known Above Very Fine
Fr. 6 $10 1861 Demand Note PMG Very Fine 25 Net.Our consignor was the top bidder at auction for this Fr. 6 in 1992. Track & Price has 45 serial numbers listed for this Friedberg number with the specimen in this lot being one of the highest graded. The net grade is due to being repaired which is mostly confined to the top and bottom margins. Also, it has fewer folds than what is often seen at this third party grade level. It is a nice enough example to have been used as the plate note on page 19 of the Chambliss-Hessler reference.
