Fr. 2 $5 1861 Demand Note Very Fine. A solid and good-looking Demand Note, problem-free save for a small repaired tear at the top, and a few closed pinholes in the center. Demand Notes, in this cataloger's opinion, are considerably underpriced. This piece has good signatures, far better than average margins, and quite a nice overall appearance.
