Boldly Printed $5 Demand Note
Fr. 2 $5 1861 Demand Note PMG Very Fine 30.Friedberg 2 is the most common of any of the Demand Notes, and the perfect note for type. This solid Very Fine has wonderful color, good signatures, and strong eye appeal. PMG has noted a couple of very minor and quite skillfully executed repaired edge splits, which affect little, and the note is solidly in the top 25% of all $5 Demand Notes. Recently, another example in a comment-free PMG Very Fine 25 holder sold for $7,200.
