Fr. 1 $5 1861 Demand Note PMG Choice Fine 15.This is a nice mid-grade example of Friedberg 1 from Series 15. Thankfully, no problems or repairs have been reported on this example, although that is most often the case with these Demand Notes which became known as "Greenbacks." The signatures are strong and the overall appearance pleasing.
