Fr. 1 $5 1861 Demand Note PCGS Banknote Very Fine 25.Very nice margins as well as good color highlight this evenly circulated, problem-free New York Demand Note Five. Both pen signatures are strong, and the note is certainly solid for its assigned grade. Attractive, problem-free Demand Notes at this grade level are difficult to locate. The last such example we sold in this grade albeit repaired brought $7,200 in our 2020 auction of the Mike Coltrane Collection.
