Fr. 191a $20 1864 Compound Interest Treasury Note PCGS Very Fine
20.Though some edge and internal repairs are noted by PCGS, this piece does not exhibit the major restoration of the edges that is more often than not encountered on mid grade Compound Interest Notes. This example is dated Oct. 15, 1864, though notes lumped into the same Friedberg number also show dates of August 15th and December 15th of the same year.
