Milton 3E25F.2c 25¢ Third Issue PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ.This note is similar to the last and has the standard two half-moon cancels normally seen on experimentals as well as the three full circle cancels. However, this example is printed on moderately thick white bond paper and not fiber paper like the prior lot. It has the blue SPECIMEN vertically in front of Fessenden's face. It was listed as unique in the Friedberg reference without a provenance, as this is the only piece known and was in the F.C.C. Boyd collection, to which Milt had no access.
