Fr. 1338 50c Third Issue Spinner PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. This is the highest PMG graded example of this rare Friedberg number by a whopping nine points. This Spinner has broad margins, bold embossing, and a strong bronze overprint. In April 2008 we sold a PCGS Choice New 63PPQ example for $2300 and we see tonight's far more attractive note zooming to double or triple that figure. In four decades of dealing in Fractional Currency this cataloger has never seen another 1338 that is likely to end up in a Third Party 67 holder.
