Spectacular Fr. 1328
Fr. 1328 50¢ Third Issue Spinner PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Unc 67
PPQ.A spectacular Fr. 1328, this piece is tied for the finest graded example that we have ever offered. PCGS Banknote has graded just two equal and none higher. We auctioned one of those two in May 2024 and it received a winning bid of $1,800. A look at PMG's findings is even more enlightening as they have been grading since 2005. PMG has graded a total of 16 Fr. 1328 66 EPQ notes, but not a single example higher. This exceptionally nice autographed Spinner, with the penned signatures of Colby and Spinner, possesses four broad margins that are at least 2 mm wide each and more than support the lofty grade.
