Description
Fr. 1299 25¢ Third Issue PMG Uncirculated 62.PMG has commented, "Splice On Top," which has us a bit puzzled, as we cannot see anything that fits that description. A scarce number in all grades, with PMG having graded only 30 examples with only four of them above the level of this sole 62. Solid surcharge Fessendens are very popular with collectors and this example which is near the top of the census should attract a good number of bidders.
