Description
Milton 2E5R.1a/1b 5¢ Second Issue Experimental PMG About Uncirculated 55 NET. This piece was cut horizontally and rejoined at the Treasury prior to stamping and canceling. The top and bottom half are obviously pieces of two different notes. Milt Friedberg felt that these split and rejoined notes were part of a paper-shrinkage test. The net grade of this ex-Ford, Boyd note is due to the two pieces being taped together.From the Cocoa Beach Collection
