Milton 2E50R.4b 50¢ Second Issue Experimental Invert PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Previously Lot 1080 from our January 1997 sale of the Milt Friedberg Collection. Several hole-canceled examples of this note are known, but only three uncanceled pieces. One of the uncanceled examples is damaged; the other two are this piece and the O'Mara piece. All uncanceled Second Issue Experimentals are quite scarce, and this one, with the inverted bronze, is striking-looking and popular as well as rare.Auction Info
