Inverted Back Surcharge
Fr. 1318 50¢ Second Issue Inverted Back Surcharge PMG Fine 12. The "50" bronze surcharge on the back is inverted while the engraving is normal. We first offered this unique error when we sold the Milt Friedberg Collection in January 1997. It then would reside in the Tom O'Mara Collection. This is a great error for the serious Fractional collector and to add frosting to the cake, it was plated in Milt's Encyclopedia.From the Cocoa Beach Collection
