Fr. 1317 50c Second Issue Very Choice New. The top face margin strays a bit close at the right end, but that is all that holds this fresh Second Issue Fifty from the Gem grade. The bronze is bright, and the print quality is excellent. This Friedberg number is generally found with a rather orange back, quite unlike the red that is seen on 1318's. This piece certainly shows that orange effect.Auction Info
