Fr. 1286a 25¢ Second Issue Slate Back PCGS Choice About New 55. The important back coloration on this particular example is an extremely deep gray that is solid throughout the design. We've handled about 20 examples of this note in all grades, and this is one of the darkest, most distinct examples we've seen. The reason for the AU grade is not apparent through the holder, and though we have no doubt it's correct, the note has the visual appeal of a Choice New example.From the Cocoa Beach Collection
