Fr. 1245 10c Second Issue Gem New. Broadly margined, beautifully bright and extremely well centered on both sides, this is a note that years ago would have brought a serious premium as a "63"-only variety. The "18" bronze corner surcharge is only present as a tiny trace. These had once been listed as an important separate variety, but they are now recognized for the minor Errors that they truly are. Regardless, this is one terrific 10c Second Issue note.Auction Info
