Description
5¢ Second Issue Progress Proof PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. This is a second Progress Proof with a bit more filled in, including the 5¢ denomination and the Washington portrait. It still lacks several key elements of the final note, but the BEP logo block has moved up to its eventual final position on the note. This note lacks both Act Date insets seen on most Experimentals. It is printed on pristine light, soft white fiber paper. Stamped Specimen in blue and with the normal two half-moon cancels. Gem New 65PPQ is an incredibly high grade for any of these rare Progress Proofs.Auction Info
