Description
5c Second Issue Experimental PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. PMG attributed this as Milton2E5R.?? and that is about right. Its a new piece to us, Both Milt Friedberg and Tom O'Mara were missing this piece. Its from the finished back plate, printed on heavy fiber paper with a fully blank back. The note lacks the bronze overprint and is punched with the two typical half moons but not stamped "SPECIMEN". It's a nice uncirculated piece, lightly toned and called "hinged" by PMG although the hinge mark is not seen through the holder.Auction Info
