Possibly Unique Fourth Issue 25¢ Face Essay Plate Proof
25¢ Fourth Issue Face Essay Plate Proof PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.The National Bank Note Co. printed this Fourth Issue 25¢ black and white face proof. It does not have the red seal that is present on finished notes. Boldly printed with good ink flow and extremely sharp resolution, it is mounted on cardstock and has die number 1802 engraved at the top center. Card edge to card edge is 216mm by 145mm. Similar to Milton 4P25.1a but without the hole cancels in the signatures. Neither the Friedberg, O'Mara, or Ford Collections had an example of this note. An opportunity for the Fractional specialist to acquire a possibly unique and quite interesting note.
