Milton 1E10F.2 10¢ First Issue Cardboard Proof PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Previously from our September 2007 sale of the F. Mayer Collection where it was described, "Printed on cardboard that is extremely similar to Bristol board, the note has an inexplicable perfectly round hole punched out at the upper left-hand corner. It's from the finished plates, with an incredibly sharp proof quality, as well as perfect color."HCAA O'Mara May 2005 Lot 16363; previously CAA Friedberg January 1997 Lot 877.
