Fr. 1228 5¢ First Issue PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. PMG has graded 79 examples of this number as of mid-November, and this lone 67 EPQ stands at the top of the census. This piece certainly appears to have earned its lofty grade. It's deeply perforated all around, with exceptionally broad margins on the face, ideal centering of the back and readily apparent original paper surfaces. The colors are also perfect on this note.
