Fr. 1308 25¢ Fifth Issue PMG Superb Gem Unc 68 EPQ.PMG has graded only one Fr. 1308 equal and nothing higher for the 507 of this Friedberg number they have examined. This example is well centered within balanced margins and possessing face to back registration that is right on the money. We have auctioned this Fractional note once before. At the time, it was in a PCGS Currency holder with a grade of 68PPQ. That September 2014 auction saw it hammer to the tune of $1,292. The last 68PPQ/EPQ Fr. 1308 to cross our auction block was a PMG 68 EPQ that realized $1,680 in September 2020. As third party graded Gem Fractional notes bring higher and higher prices realized, we would not be surprised if our estimate is surpassed quite easily.
