Excessively Rare Mismatched Suffix Error
Fr. 1924-C $1 1999 Federal Reserve Note. Very Fine. An excessively rare note with mismatched suffix letters E/I. This is the only error with mismatched suffix letters known (one other has a missing suffix letter) and to date only about a half a dozen examples, all circulated, have been reported. Despite having handled literally thousands of error notes during the past fifteen years, this specimen is the first of its kind that we have been privileged to sell.
