Striking Double Face Printing

Loose Cylinder Error Double Face Printing Fr. 2027-B $10 1985 Federal Reserve Note. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
A loose cylinder multiple impression error occurs when the printing plate cylinder and the impression cylinder are not synchronized or when one of the two cylinders is loose. The paper moves slightly, and that part of the paper that is in contact with the printing plate is double printed. The example in this lot received its normal printing, but the second printing was just a touch lighter. This is a normal occurrence for this error type. This piece exhibits enough separation of approximately 1mm between the two printings so that the eye popping doubling can be fully enjoyed. This is certainly one of most striking examples of this error that we have encountered.
