Fr. 37 $1 1917 Legal Tender Inverted Back Gem New. Only six Inverted Back Fr. 37's are known: three from the E-A block, two from the K-A block and this unique D-A note. It's a Gem in every respect, with broad, even margins, good paper surfaces, perfect color and terrific eye appeal. We handled one of the E-A Inverts in January of 2000, and it realized over $3500. This beautiful note was auctioned in March of 2001 for $5500. Now, three years later, we would expect the piece to easily exceed that level.Auction Info
