Inverted Overprint Error Fr. 1614* $1 1935E Silver Certificate Star. PMG Very Fine 25.The third printing is upside down on the $1 Silver star in this lot. This rare error note is only the second Fr. 1614* inverted overprint error that we have offered. We auctioned the first example in February 2005 as part of the advanced Taylor Family Collection. It graded Extremely Fine and was acquired by an error dealer for the sum of $2,990. Spindle hole comment mentioned for accuracy.
