Description
Fold Over Error Fr. 1933-D $1 2006 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.A plate position G2 large fold over error that shows parts of two notes on the back. The large fold over cover's all of Washington's portrait, leaving just a small portion of the portrait curtain in view. The fold over extends through the Cleveland district seal and covers up all of the left serial number, except for the first part of the D prefix letter. We had a similar fold over error on a Fr. 2071-E $20 Series 1974 grading PMG 64 EPQ. It realized $1,800 in our May 2021 auction.
