Kansas City "King of Errors" Dual Denomination

Dual Denomination Error Fr. 1960-J $5/$10 1934D Federal Reserve Note. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
A long held collection has finally come to light adding one more serial number to the census for this Kansas City dual/double denomination. This is the most populous of the four different small size double denominations that escaped the BEP in the 20th century. The example in this lot is serial number J43180752A. The fifth edition of United States Paper Money Errors by Dr. Frederick J. Bart and Bianca B. Bart on page 30 lists 38 serial numbers for this Fr. 1960-J error. This population figure has not impeded the desirability of this error. Our current offering has just a little handling, while retaining signs of embossing. A "King of Errors" note that can be the crowning error in an advanced collection.
