Description

Double Denomination King of Errors 1934D $5/$10

Double Denomination Error Fr. 1960-J $5/$10 1934D Federal Reserve Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
This is a crackling fresh example of the most elusive of Bureau of Engraving and Printing errors. The face carries the $5 denomination while the back, which was printed first, bears the $10 denomination printing. It is nicely margined and retains strong embossing and strict originality. The latest 64 that we auctioned was a PCGS Banknote 64 PPQ example that brought a strong $55,200 in our recent FUN auction.
