T65 $100 1864 PF-3 Cr. 494 PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Unc 67 PPQ.The Series II T65 in this lot is an exceptionally well preserved representative. With even margins, a vivid light pink tint, a gorgeous dark blue back, and entirely original paper surfaces, this note has certainly earned its lofty grade. According to the PCGS Banknote Population Report, the firm has certified a meager three T65s of this variation at this grade level, with none finer. The PMG Population Report states that no T65 has reached the PMG 67 EPQ grade. We have not auctioned a representative encapsulated in this grade previously. Our conservative estimate could very well be exceeded tonight for this bold piece.
