T60 $5 PF-27IB Inverted Back
T60 $5 1863 Inverted Back.This is an example of the extremely rare PF-27IB, Cr. 464IB inverted back error variety and it fits very comfortably in the fifth spot of Fricke's Condition Census. It has a rarity 12 rating, 10 known. The edges are sound on this evenly circulated note plus the colors are nice for the grade. This is the first T60 invert that we have been able to offer. We did auction a slightly lower grade T-59 $10 1863 inverted back in September 2007 and it brought $5463. Also, it must also be kept in mind that 1863 inverted backs are rarer than inverted back 1862s, so bid accordingly if you want a major Confederate error. Very Fine, CC.
