Description

"Issued Wilmington, NC" T40 $100 1862 PF-1 Cr. 298 PMG About Uncirculated 53 Net.
The note, which is fully framed, printed on bright paper, and repair-free, was issued out of the Wilmington, NC, depository on January 15, 1863, and it apparently stayed close to home, with interest being paid out of the same office on January 1, 1864, by Henry Savage, Depositary as witnessed by two black stamps on the back. PMG mentions minor ink burn which is not overly distracting.
