Attractive T9 Printed on Bright, Thick Bond Paper

T9 $20 1861 PF-13 Cr. 32 PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 63.
The T9 Confederate Treasury Note was emitted from July 25 through October 26, 1861, and examples bore a printed date of July 25, 1861. This type represents the first $20 issued by the Confederacy which did not bear interest. At center is a vignette of a large sailing vessel, and at upper and lower right are denominational die counters. This Choice Uncirculated piece, printed on thick paper, bears a full frame.
