Description

T7 $100 1861 PF-4 Cr. 11 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
With Southern Bank Note Company floundering on deliveries, Memminger turned to Hoyer & Ludwig to produce lithographed notes that filled the breach. Between July 29 and October 22, 1861, 37,155 of this design were issued. This variety is printed on thinner banknote paper and shows little evidence of circulation along with retaining original surfaces.
