Description

T7 $100 1861 PF-4 Cr. 11 PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 63.
A scant 37,155 $100s were issued between July 29 and October 22, 1861, making the $100 the smallest quantity issue of any of the July 25, 1861, denominations printed by Hoyer & Ludwig. The years have been kind to this note which is boldly printed on snow white paper with bold handwritten information and nice margins. PCGS Banknote mentions minor adhesive residue on the back corners left over from previous mounting which is not overly distracting.

Estimate: $2,500 - up.
