T6 $50 1861. This is a gorgeous circulated example of a very difficult type that is infrequently seen in any grade. With fantastic margins for the type, this piece has outstanding eye appeal for the grade and is hardly impacted by a couple of tiny age spots. It is signed on the back by a "Jeff Davis," obviously by a left-handed endorser and hence probably not in the Confederate President's hand.
