T5 $100 1861. This high grade Richmond issue Hundred is an attractive example of this type that was long thought to be the first note ordered and issued by the Richmond government. It is fully Crisp Uncirculated, although three of the four corners are rounded very slightly and the margin is trimmed close at the bottom right. It has a clear and interesting historical endorsement on the back that reads, "Issued by me Sept. 21 / 61 Maj. W.J. Anderson Qr. Mr. Memphis, Tn."
