T38 $2 1861. This note truly is a scarce issue as no Confederate notes below $5 were authorized and intended to circulate in 1861. The date was incorrectly engraved as 1861 instead of 1862. The note is complete with numerous pinholes and edge nicks, however is original with no repairs whatsoever. Very Good.Auction Info
