Attractive Indian Princess Note
T35 $5 1861 PF-1 Cr. 271 PMG Choice Fine 15.A total of 7,160 Indian Princess notes were printed before production abruptly ceased. Four of these notes were printed on an eight subject plate, sharing the plate with four T27 Plate Ab $10s. This example faces up well with clean paper surfaces and decent margins. PMG mentions a faint penciled annotation on the back and that the note is repaired, perhaps referring to two short sealed edge tears in the bottom margin, neither of which overly distract.
