T27 $10 1861. Next to the legendary Indian Princess note this is the rarest Confederate type, and surviving examples are most often found in low grades. While this example from the Kennedy collection has been expertly restored to reinforce a few nicks and splits, even an expert observer has to look very closely to notice them and many might miss them entirely. Overall this piece has outstanding eye appeal, and regardless of the restorations any collector would be proud to fill a hole in a CSA type set with it.
