T24 $10 1861. This type, which features a portrait of Confederate Secretary of State R.M.T. Hunter at left and a vignette of a child at right, is quite scarce in high grades. This Choice About Uncirculated from the Kennedy collection is as nice as we have ever seen, although the bottom margin is trimmed into the border design at left. Only a very light diagonal fold is present at the right end, and this pretty example printed on script "CSA" watermarked paper is likely to far surpass our likely conservative estimate.Auction Info
