T17 $20 1861 PF-1 Cr.99 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.
Hoyer & Ludwig took a page from their work on early 1861 Commonwealth of Virginia issues, using an elaborate colored undertint (in this case green) as a counterfeit deterrent. Only 43,732 notes were issued between September 14 and November 5, 1861. This is a well printed note with great color and decent margins.
