T12 $5 1861. Although this isn't the highest grade T12 that we've ever seen, it certainly must be one of the very nicest looking pieces in existence. The back printing is nearly always faded on this scarce type, but the back on this note is extraordinarily sharp and bright. The margins are broad and even on all four sides, an unusual occurrence for any early CSA note, and the face printing is absolutely flawless. The paper is absolutely problem-free. This Very Fine-Extremely Fine Manouvrier note is likely to see extremely spirited bidding, and we would not be surprised if the hammer fell far beyond our perhaps conservative estimate of. . .
