Description
T10 $10 1861 PF-15 Cr. UNL PMG Very Fine 25.Printed on thick bond paper, this note features a small "10" in the denominational die counter at upper left as well as a "for" handwritten by the signer for the treasurer. In Pierre Fricke's 2014 catalog Collecting Confederate Paper Money, the author gives this PF-15 variety an R10 rarity rating, 21-50 known. Though PMG does mention several repairs which are visible on the back, this note is a well printed representative of a quite elusive variation.
